present for someone special. You will learn to cast on, knit, purl, increase, cast off and
sew up. And we promise you’ll soon be knitting and chatting at the same time! Plan to arrive early

Knitters’ Handbook.

Knitting Socks From the Toe Up Tuesday, November 9 & Tuesday, November 16
6:00 –
8:00 pm OR Wednesday, November 10 & Wednesday,
November 17 9:30
am – 11:30 am
£40 per person Most sock patterns go from the cuff down. But knitting socks from the toe up means no grafting! Plus,
you can try on the sock as you knit and you won’t run out
of yarn before the foot is finished. And many knitters swear that toe-up socks just plain feel more comfortable, too. This workshop is suitable for knitters who already know how to
knit socks from the cuff down (whether you use dpns or circular needles) and those who haven’t tried knitting socks
before. And it’s the perfect excuse to use colourful, self-striping sock yarn. Tuition
includes a copy of the reference book Toe-Up 2-At-A-Time
Socks.
